My camera allows me to peer into other lives outside of my world. Although I can't pinpoint why I choose my subjects, I am guided by my fascination with finding the extraordinary in the ordinary.
Ann Clifford-McGough majored in photography at the School of Visual Arts (SVA) in New York City. In 1982 she started DMI photo agency with a partner, focusing on celebrity photography for newspapers and magazines, public relations, and corporations.
In 2000, the DMI files and rights were sold to Time Life. Clifford-McGough remained at the company as a consultant for five years. Her photo library is with Time Life and it is distributed through Getty Images.
In 2004 Ann moved to Sarasota, Florida. Around 2010, she resumed her passion for the art of photography by learning digital photography skills.
