Project Statement:
Monpura Island, located in the southern part of Bangladesh, is one of the most vulnerable islands to climate change. Every year this land shrinks because of heavy river erosion and flooding. People move from place to place as the river drastically eats up the land, causing these people to become climate refugees. Monpura Island lies between Meghna River and the Bay of Bengal.
